چکیده
Titanium alloy and its thin-walled structures are widely used in the aerospace field. Aiming at processing chatter difficult-to-machine problem of titanium workpieces, rotary ultrasonic milling technology (RUM) is employed to restrict machining vibration this paper. Firstly, for describing dynamic characteristics, web with low stiffness equivalent a mass-spring-damping system three degrees freedom. Then, novel stability analysis method proposed RUM workpiece (RUM-tww) through defining an function angle. Furthermore, RUM-tww lobe diagrams (SLDs) achieved based on semi-discrete (SDM). The simulation results show that webs improved effectively under effect energy. Compared conventional (CM-tww), region increased by 80.32% within spindle speed from 1000 5000r/min. Finally, experiments carried out verify validity rationality SLDs via analyzing marks, cutter flatness machined surface. experimental good agreement theoretical prediction.

Analysis of the Rotary-draw Bending Process for Thin-walled Rectangular Aluminum Tube
The Rotary-Draw Bending (RDB) process is a distinguished process employed for the precision cold bending of a hollow tube with small radius bends using Numerical Control (NC) machines. This research presents an analytical model based on the power law hardening model for the RDB processing of rectangular thin tubes. Based on the constraints of the tube in the dies and its thinness, the plane str...

Analysis of Chatter in Ball End Milling by Wavelet Transform
The chatter is one of the major limitations of the productivity in the ball end milling process. It affects the surface roughness, the dimensional accuracy and the tool life. The aim of this research is to propose the new system to detect the chatter during the ball end milling process by using the wavelet transform. The proposed method is implemented on the 5-axis CNC machining center and the ...

Experimental examination of the gyroscopic and rotary inertia effects on the chatter boundary in a milling operation is the chief aim of this article. The equations of motion of the tool vibration are derived based on Timoshenko beam theory and Hamilton principle by considering gyroscopic moment, rotary inertia, velocity-dependent process damping and radial immersion effect. For a range of dept...
متن کاملStable Milling of Thin-Walled Parts with Variable Dynamics
The milling of thin-walled parts can become a seriously complex problem. In this work, the problem of the variable dynamics of a test part has been solved through the calculation of 3D stability lobes which add a third dimension with the tool position along the part, to the traditional depth of cut-spindle speed pair. First, the dynamics of a test part in several machining steps have been calcu...
